Redfish schools are still around!

Went out today looking for reds in the flats boat today.  A couple dozen mud minnows and a couple live blue crabs blue crabs seemed like the perfect bait.  We headed up the Cooper River (since it's usually clear after a hard rain).  Not only did it surprise me again, but the fish were pretty active.  The fish loved quartered crab and hated mud minnows.  We ended up with with 6 nice over slot reds and one nice slot red.  The trout bite is still dead on popping corks. Phone died and no pics for the day.
Getting ready for a blackfin tuna/ wahoo trip on Friday.  Hopefully there will be some awesome action around the Georgetown hole.  The reports are good and the rods are ready!  The cedar plugs and butterfly jigs are ready to hookup! http://www.exclusivefishingcharters.com
